Equine Therapy.

Horses are known for having the astonishing capacity to help heal the lives of adults and children who have suffered traumas. San Diego County offers various equine therapy ranches that are dedicated to helping heal. Whether you are seeking treatment of eating disorders, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, grief, mental health anxiety or something else, many options exist.

Pegasus Rising partners horses and humans for healing. The program is designed to provide assistance to our U.S. military personnel, as well as their families, in readjusting back into civilian life. Many returning service members are diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and/or Traumatic Brain Injury and their program can help heal these service members. By interacting with their herd as equals, it helps military personnel reconnect with their civilian lives in a natural and fun way. www.pegasusrising.org
