Fundraising Jog with Your Dog.

On Sunday, October 8th, animal lovers and athletes will unite on behalf of the Foundation for Animal Care and Education (FACE), a non-profit that saves the lives of local pets in need of emergency veterinary care. Whether you are a seasoned hiker or a fan of peaceful walks, FACE welcomes all who wish to participate!

This year, FACE is bringing its annual charity event to San Dieguito County Park in Solana Beach. Enjoy picture-perfect panoramic views of one of the most beautiful parks in San Diego while supporting a good cause. In addition to the invigorating dash, there will also be a pet agility area, opportunity drawings and a lively vendor village. Your furry family members will thank you for bringing them!

Awards and prizes will be given to the fastest dashers, best dressed and the teams and individuals who raise the most funds on behalf of FACE. Prizes include tickets to popular Southern California attractions, treats and toys for your pooch, and spa & restaurant gift certificates.

“The money we raise at our special events and through the generosity of our donors provides the resources that we need to give pets in our community a second chance at life,” Brooke Haggerty, FACE’s Executive Director tells a pet’s life magazine. “We are a small nonprofit with a relentless mission to make a difference for families and pets in our community.”

Walk, hike, or jog to support FACE with an entry fee of $30, but hurry, only the first 100 registrants will receive a free event t-shirt!
