Pet Fire Safety Day
According to the United States Fire Administration, an estimated half million pets are affected by fires every year. July 15 is recognized as Pet Fire Safety Day to bring awareness and identify ways for you and your pets to be safe from harm.

Check the Chip Day
On August 15 celebrate National Check the Chip by making sure your pets are microchipped and registration information is up-to-date. Your pet being microchipped creates a forever bond with the pet you love but it is also as important to have all the information accurate and up to date in case your pet gets lost. It only takes a moment of time so consult your veterinarian and check the chip. www.aaha.org
Deaf Dog Awareness Week
The last full week of every September is Deaf Dog Awareness Week. Deaf pets, like other special needs pets, make wonderful family members. There are so many misconceptions that it is important to educate and erase misconceptions.
